We have had a rewarding and successful first year at our new Healthy Detox retreat near Velez Rubio in Murcia, Spain.

This beautiful house is set in 5 acres of pine scented tranquillity with magnificent views of the Sierra del Gigante.

The New Healthy Detox Retreat

For many years we have wanted to offer our clients a haven for health rejuvenation where the accent is on nature rather than machine. We both have a wealth of experience working in health farms, firstly at Tyringham Naturopathic Clinic, then at Forest Mere in Hampshire when it was part of the Savoy Hotel, then finally back to Tyringham for a while before starting our practice in Redcar.

At La Monja the air is pure and full of oxygen due to the pine trees and absence of industry. The world changes constantly, and the future is an unknown, but when opportunities are given one should take them. This is an opportunity to revitalise the body: To recharge the batteries, and so restore lost energy. Weight loss is a natural bonus. Detoxing will be assisted by fasting and regular juice drinks, aided by colon cleansing.

Daily treatments will be tailored to each individual's needs. Evenings will include informal discussions and talks on various health topics. This is the benefit of having an integrated holistic approach to health, and all under one roof in beautiful surroundings!

Travel: The nearest airports are Alicante, Murcia, Granada, and Almeria. For car-hire we recommend Economy Car Hire, a company based in the UK with excellent connections in Spain. There is a train service between most large towns and cities, and Lorca which is our nearest large town.

 

Costs will be £1200 per 7 days. There is a single person room supplement of £50. This is waived if you are willing to share a room. Please note that the price does not include your travel costs. There is a separate page regarding deposits and refund policy.
